Climb the tower on Charles Bridge for a breathtaking view of the City of a Hundred Spires and wander down the famed Golden Lane in one of the worlds biggest castles. The Old Town is spectacular in the evening, and home to many restaurants and traditional beer halls in which to indulge. Day 3 cesky krumlov This medieval town is home to magical Krumlov Castle. After exploring the towns warren of crooked streets on a guided tour, consider whiling away the afternoon in the castle complex, inspecting the gorgeous mural in the Masquerade Hall and the ornate Baroque theatre. Dont miss climbing up the whimsical tower in the courtyard for spectacular views of Cesky Krumlov. Days 4-5 Vienna Stroll the elegant Ringstrasse for a tantalising taste of the old city. Wander the perfectly manicured grounds of Schoenbrunn Palace and take in the view from the imposing Gloriette Monument. There is ample time to visit some of the citys many museums. In the evening, its possible to take in a performance at the Opera, or just unwind over a Viennese coffee. Days 6-8 Budapest The Pearl of the Danube is aptly nicknamed, with its wealth of culture and magnificent buildings on the banks of the beautiful river. Enjoy free time here by taking in the city and its fascinating history on a walking tour or looking for souvenirs in one of the many markets.
