There might also be time to take a first dip in the inviting waters of the Dalmation coast. Days 3-4 Dubrovnik Arrive in Dubrovnik after a spectacular coastal drive past vineyards, bays and olive groves. A walk along the famed city walls affords great views of the Adriatic Sea, and is the ideal way to warm up before leaving the Old Town to find that perfect spot for a refreshing swim. A visit to the attractive Onofrio Fountain and elegant Clock Tower is well worth it. Day 5 rovinj Fly to the Istrian Peninsula to spend a night in charming Rovinj. Meander the Venetian-influenced lanes and cobbled squares of this tiny town in search of a delicious seafood meal. Spend the free afternoon relaxing on the beach and swimming, or visit the towering spire of the Cathedral of St Euphemia that dominates the skyline. Days 6-8 Bled Make a short stop in the walled town of Motovun to visit a culinary workshop and taste test the regional mouth-watering specialties of truffles and smoked ham. Then its on to Bled with its charming lake that has a small island in the middle that its possible to visit. A cable car ride to Mt Vogel offers breathtaking views of the Julian Alps. Later, there is the chance to get active in Bled, where canoeing, canyoning and cycling are just a handful of the outdoor options available.

Spend the afternoon admiring stunning collections of gold- and silverwork housed in elaborate churches and then watch the magnificent sunset while walking along the musical steps of the Sea Organ. Embrace the warm summer air and atmosphere of coastal Croatia at a small bar or cafe. Days 3-5 rab island Soak up the sun on one of Rabs pristine sandy beaches or sail out to a nearby island to find a more secluded spot. Nature is what makes this island truly unforgettable, so why not rent a bike or hike through the Kalifront forest to uncover the magic on your own. Day 6 rovinj Half a century of foreign rule created the charming collection of buildings in this small town. Admire the different styles of architecture, then kick back and enjoy local delicacies in one of the quaint cafes lining the crooked cobblestone streets of Rovinj. Days 7-8 Venice There is no city in the world quite like it. Marvel at the paintings within the Palace of the Doge and the mosaics in the Basilica di San Marco. Wander the maze of alleyways to discover shops, markets, galleries, churches and stunning buildings around every corner. And no visit to Venice would be complete without a gondola ride on the canals.
