the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sacre Coeur and the Louvre - theres a bounty of sights to see in this beautiful city. Descend to the creepy catacombs or get hip and catch the metro to the chic fashion area of Les Halles to do some window shopping alongside stylish locals. Days 3-4 Bruges With its picturesque waterways and cobbled lanes, delicious waffles and dazzling array of beers, this charming little town beckons. Consider a tour of the De Halve Maan Brewery to learn the story behind the famous beer, or head further afield to the battlefields of Waterloo. Sample delicious pralines at one of the many sublime chocolatiers, shop for Flemish lace, or just hang out in the city square and watch the world go by. Days 5-6 amsterdam Hire a bike and take the time to explore this colourful city of canals, bridges and parks, soaking up the warm atmosphere of vibrant Amsterdam. There are plenty of magnificent museums and a visit to the Anne Frank House can give you an insight into the life of this exceptional girl and her war-torn world. Days 7-9 Berlin Take to the pathways of the lush Tiergarten and drop into the zoo to see the giant pandas, or join a day-long walking tour, an excellent way to delve into Berlins provocative past. This vivacious city is also home to some of the most happening nightlife scenes in Europe so take the opportunity to hit one of the many nightclubs or bars to celebrate the end of an amazing journey.

There is plenty of time to uncover the hidden treasures of the Old Town or perhaps take a boat ride to the island of Lokrum, where Richard the Lionheart is said to have been shipwrecked. These days, Lokrum is the perfect place to sunbathe and swim in crystal clear waters. Days 3-4 korcula Arrive on this picturesque island by ferry, to stay in simple accommodation with welcoming local hosts. With its pristine forests, tranquil inlets and character-filled vineyards, Korcula gives its residents plenty to be proud of. A visit to a local farm provides an opportunity to try traditional home-cooked delicacies. Wash it all down with travarica, a grappa-like drink, followed by famous Korcula cakes for dessert. In the Old Town, there is time to swim, visit local boutiques or just soak up the charm of Croatian island life. Days 5-7 split and trogir Spend some time discovering this regions golden past in the World Heritage-listed town of Trogir. Explore the many medieval churches and palaces here before seeing the Roman ruins at nearby Split. The site of Emperor Diocletians fantastically preserved palace, bustling Split is the soul of Dalmatia. Wander into underground basements and bargain with the locals for handmade jewellery, then kick back with a coffee near the airy Peristyle, the main open space of the palace.
