itiNerary... Days 1-2 Mexico city Take a subway through an old temple in crazy Mexico City. Days 3-4 Puebla Enjoy the Spanish vibe in this City of Angels, a place that blends the colonial past with modern development. There are many well-kept churches and buildings to admire. Days 5-6 oaxaca Watch the sunset over the skyline and try traditional mole, stuffed chillies and chocolate coated grasshopers or hit the mezcal for a real taste of Mexico - Oaxaca is the ideal place for a culinary adventure. Days 9-10 Palenque Climb the Mayan temples of Palenque for stunning jungle views. Days 11-12 Merida Come face to face with the rain god Chac at the ruins of Uxmal. itiNerary... Day 1 san Jose Get a feel for San Jose on an afternoon guided sightseeing walk through the city. There are plenty of museums, cafes and shops to visit. Days 2-3 la Fortuna Head out into the beautiful surrounds and explore the surrounding countryside by bike. Nature lovers can visit the Cano Negro Wildlife Refuge. Days 4-5 Monteverde Explore by foot or mountain bike through the cool, green cloud forest of Monteverde, home to an extraordinary array of wildlife. Days 6-7 Manuel antonio National Park Explore the white sand beaches, tropical vegetation and turquoise waters of Manuel Antonio National Park. Hike along the trails to spot some of the abundant wildlife or take to the warm water to swim, kayak or surf. Days 8-9 san Jose Return to San Jose and perhaps visit the Gold Museum, with its collection of gold art, or catch a show at the citys pride and joy, the National Museum.
