Wander along sweeping boulevards and plazas and revel in this citys charm. Visit Coppelia Ice Cream Pavilion for a treat thats out of this world. Days 2-4 Baracoa With a scattering of colonial buildings and a backdrop of mountains and sea, Baracoa is possibly Cubas most beautiful town. Climb over the old forts - built to withstand pirate raids - or explore the mountains and black sand beaches. In town, see cigar rolling in action. Days 5-7 santiago de cuba There are plenty of historic sites in Santiago. The city earned the title Hero City of the Republic of Cuba for its pivotal role in the revolution - but it is better known for its smooth tunes. After a day of sightseeing, stay out all night dancing. Day 8 camaguey There is a lot of fun to be had getting lost among the winding streets of Camaguey. Find a terrace cafe for a drink and enjoy the city views, dotted with steeples, towers, domes and terracotta colours. Days 9-12 trinidad Home to Spanish-style churches and some great museums, Trinidad is also the gateway to the beautiful Valle de los Ingenios, where vast sugar cane plantations pan out as far as the eye can see. Playa Ancon is close by and there is plenty of time to relax on its long, unspoiled beaches. Days 2-4 Baracoa Set on a bay against a backdrop of mountains, this town has a vibrant past. Soak up the history on a beautiful beach. Days 5-7 santiago de cuba Its time to show off those salsa moves in the city that invented the dance and visit the many museums and colonial churches. Day 8 camaguey Stop by the islands third largest city, a university town rich in tradition. Keep an eye out for tinajones, large clay pots traditionally used for collecting water. Days 9-12 trinidad This colonial city is on the doorstep of the long, picture-perfect beaches of Playa Ancon. Days 13-15 havana Stroll along Havanas ocean-side walkway. A lively nightlife affords plenty of opportuntities to try some rum - in a minty mojito, daiquiri, Cuba libre or straight up on ice, there are plenty of ways to indulge. Days 16-18 Vinales Explore caves or hike through the limestone hills of Vinales, a small and charming rural village. After all the fresh air, sit back and enjoy views of the sprawling tobacco fields in the valleys below. Days 19-20 cayo levisa Sugar-white sand beaches and sapphire waters await on this small coral key. This is an excellent place to partake of a fresh seafood lunch.
