It's difficult to see Paxos was an island at war given the laid back relaxed nature of many of its inhabitants. In fact, legend has it that Poseidon struck Corfu with his trident causing its southernmost tip to break off and become a separate island, an island that became his `love nest' to conduct an affair with the nymph, Amphitrite, hidden from his jealous wife. The trident of Poseidon remains the symbol of Paxos and it's easy to discover why he chose Paxos for his relaxation haven. Centrally located the villa is an ideal base for the short hops to the beach or to the wonderful harbour of Loggos and even Gaios, Pano's House has been sympathetically built to blend into its surroundings and to keep as much of the local nature as part of its grounds as possible. Pano's House has a delightful surprise; it has sea views that go out over the eastern coastline towards the Greek mainland with the imposing Epiros mountains in the distance. Externally the pool area spreads out in front of the villa, with spacious terracing ideal for sunbathing with plentiful natural shade to escape the midday sun. The living areas lead out onto this terrace including the two bedrooms, one twin and one double. The third bedroom is accessed from the terrace and has its own en suite shower room and WC. The open plan living/dining room and well equipped kitchen complete the property with its high ceiling which gives the house an airy spacious and cool feel. PAXOS Pano's House is ideal for families and couples alike offering everything that is great about Paxos, stunning views in a fabulous location and a property that fully blends in with its natural surroundings. www.ionianislandholidays.com Prices: please refer to p168 80
