Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Copacabana, Ipanema its time to get the flip-flops and cossie out and head down to the beach. Or, for truly breathtaking views of the city, head up to Sugar Loaf, or the Corcovado Mountain to see the legendary Christ the Redeemer statue. Days 4-5

This is a city that has its heart on the other side of the Atlantic. Nowhere else in Brazil is the countrys African heritage so apparent. Discover a different side to Brazil and experience Salvadors unique music, spicy food, architecture and culture. Salvador is also home to Capoeira, Brazils own graceful and stylised martial art. A stunning city by the sea, Recife is known for its fantastic stretches of golden beaches, which are protected by offshore reefs and perfect for swimming. The city itself is one of Brazils oldest and most intriguing with old colonial buildings, churches, bridges and waterways, giving visitors a taste of the countrys past.
