Discover Florida & what it has to offer As well as Mickey Mouse and the mega theme parks, theres a whole Sunshine State full of delights and surprises, a different side of Florida that we can help you discover. Well show you where to go for thrills outside the parks, pure white beaches, nature in the raw, exclusive malls and bargain designer outlets, an intoxicating nightlife and chill-out sunsets. Orlandos man-made landscapes in particular those thrilling theme parks provide reason enough to come to Florida. But look further and youll nd great swathes of unspoiled nature, beautiful beaches and undeveloped coastline, and protected State Parks. Head over to the Gulf Coast, or down towards Miami and the Keys, and youll nd mysterious swamps and mangroves, enchanting bayous and charming little harbours to explore. Theres a fantastic variety of creatures to be seen in Orlandos theme parks for sure, but head over to the Gulf Coast or down to the Everglades and you can spot Floridian animals in the wild too. In Orlando and Miami youll nd action-packed places offering every leisure activity imaginable, they have shopping malls where you can browse for hours, but there are also exclusive areas full of exquisite boutiques, if you know where to look. Rides and rockets Whether youre a white-knuckle adrenaline junkie or simply want your picture taken alongside Mickey Mouse, then Floridas famous theme parks and magical Disney attractions will be your heaven on earth. Orlando has the cream of the crop Walt Disney World® Resort, Universal Studios®, the marine magic of SeaWorld® and the watery thrills of Wet n Wild® are unmissable. Close by, Kennedy Space Center and Busch Gardens® are also world-class visitor attractions. If you need a break from the theme parks, no problem, there are dozens of smaller top quality attractions all over the State, from specialist museums and art galleries, to the very latest hands-on Discovery Centers. Animal magic What would you like to see today? Big cats and exotic birds, sharks and sea lions, gorillas and gators, rhinos, amingos? How about a manatee? SeaWorld® and Walt Disney Worlds Animal Kingdom are must-visits, but youll also nd smaller zoos, parks and animal sanctuaries to enjoy. Not all of Floridas wildlife is in custody, either. Youll soon get used to pelicans ying gracefully past you, and the strange sight of the anhinga bird drying its outstretched wings. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins on the Gulf Coast but look too in more unlikely places watch the grass verges around the Kennedy Space Center, for example, for dozing alligators.
