The Costa del Sol is renowned for having the longest coastline in Spain, providing what appears to be an infinite amount of sun drenched beaches. The region has stunning scenery, from impressive outlooks of the Mediterranean Sea to fabulous mountain views. The culture in the area varies from the buzzing glamorous, modern way of life in Marbella, to beautifully unspoilt traditional localities. These include museums, theatres and quaint old towns, which give a reminder of how traditional Spanish life used to be.

Tourist attractions are plentiful in the Costa del Sol. Choose from aqua parks, boat and ferry trips, natural caves and spectacular marinas. For those interested in a more sporting holiday, there are ample golf courses to play. The Costa del Sol is locally nicknamed as the Costa del Golf, such is the array of courses. Along the coastline, water sports can be found, as can various day trip excursions. Travelling between the resorts is very simple, with one major road connecting all the resorts.
