This marvellous new holiday combines the delights of the Dalmatian coast around Dubrovnik with the splendid scenery of neighbouring Montenegro. From the ramparts of the old town to the lovely waters of the surrounding islands, Dubrovnik itself is a simply beautiful destination. The republic of Montenegro is home to the stunning Bay of Kotor, rugged mountains, pine forests and charming resorts.
Dubrovnik in Croatia has become one of Europes favourite destinations, while the delights of Montenegro are still relatively undiscovered. Our super programme and exciting excursions will help you discover the best of these two countries. DAY 7 - Optional full day boat cruise to the beautiful Elaphite Islands to visit the three largest, Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud. DAY 8 - Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for the return flight to the UK.

YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Dubrovnik. Transfer south to the Budva resort area in Montenegro for a three night stay on a half board basis. In the evening we enjoy a visit to Budvas old town, the marina and the amazing old Medina, with a welcome drink at a local café. DAY 2 - Join our optional three-quarter day tour of the regions highlights. Firstly we visit the Bay of Kotor, and Kotor town. Then its on to Njegusi, to sample the local ham and cheese. Continue to Cetinje, Montenegros old royal capital, where we visit King Nikolas Palace. DAY 3 - Today we offer a unique optional full day excursion to one of Europes lost countries, Albania. Home to a rich blend of religions and cultures, its origins are still shrouded in mystery. Our escorted tour includes Pecurice, Sukobin and Shkodra for free time, before enjoying the scenic panarama of Ulcini. DAY 4 - Today we drive north into the mountainous Durmitor National Park. Along the way we include visits to Skadar Lake, Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro, and the Moraca Monastery. Stop in Gora for an included lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the beautiful Tara River, which flows through a spectacular canyon, and the Black Lake. We continue to the mountain resort of Zabljak for an overnight stay. DAY 5 - Our journey today takes us via Sanvik, Niksic and Ostrog and back to Croatia. We include a visit to the cliff-top Ostrog Monastery and lunch. This afternoon we visit Trebinje, a picturesque town on the River Trebianjica, before arriving at Dubrovnik for a three night stay. DAY 6 - Included half day introductory panoramic tour of Dubrovnik, beginning with a drive along the coastal road. Enjoy a walk around the old town, with its fortresses, narrow streets, squares and churches. Highlights include the cathedral, the Rectors Palace, the Franciscan Monastery and the ramparts.
YOUR HOTELS
You will stay in comfortable good standard hotels, such as the Hotel Mediteran in Becici on the outskirts of Budva, the Hotel Jezera in Zabljak and Hotel Argosy in the pretty Babin Kuk area of Dubrovnik, just a short bus ride from the old town. Hotel amenities include bar, lounge, lift, restaurant and swimming pool. All bedrooms have private facilities TV and telephone.
