This lovely holiday is a real feast of floral delights with plenty of culture and history, too! From your base on magnificent Lake Como youll enjoy visits to the famous gardens of Villa Melzi, the botanical gardens of the Villa Taranto at Pallanza and the magnificent summer palace on Lake Maggiores Isola Bella.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at your chosen airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Milan (or Bergamo). On arrival transfer to your hotel on Lake Como for a seven night stay. In the evening there will be a welcome drink and dinner. DAYS 2 TO 7 - Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme. The following excursions are included: Bellagio & Villa Melzi Gardens - A half day excursion by ferry boat, to the Villa Melzi gardens at Bellagio. Following your visit you will have free time to stroll around the picturesque resort of Bellagio before returning by boat to your hotel. Lake Maggiore, Villa Taranto & the Borromean Islands - A full day scenic tour of Lake Maggiore. We visit the famous botanical gardens of the Villa Taranto at Pallanza. After your visit you will enjoy a short boat trip across the lake to Isola Bella, the largest Borromean Island, with its magnificent 17th century palace and impressive terraced gardens. The following excursions are optional: Villa Monastero - A half day trip visiting the elegant Villa Monastero at the pretty resort of Varenna. Milan - A full day excursion to Italys capital of style including a city guide. Milan has plenty to offer, including the Sforzesco Castle and the elegant shops of the Gallerie. St. Moritz/Bernina Express - Our full day excursion features a scenic coach journey to Tirano followed by the superb Bernina Express railway journey (approx. 2hrs) through the spirals and tunnels of the Bernina Pass. Journeys end is the exclusive Swiss resort of St. Moritz, after which we return by coach directly to Lake Como. On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK

You will stay in the comfortable three star standard Hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo. Overlooking the lake, the large hotel enjoys a fabulous location. Facilities include outdoor swimming pool, two terraces, two lifts and a lounge bar. The lake-view dining area serves buffet style breakfast with occasional hot dishes and buffet service evening meals with salad. Bedrooms all have private facilities, satellite TV, hairdryer, and telephone. Standard rooms are at the rear of the hotel whilst lake-view rooms with balcony or terrace are available at a supplement. The hotel also has regular live music and all Just You guests receive one free entrance to the nearby Villa Carlotta and gardens, just a short walk from the hotel.

On the dates above our hotel is the stylish four star Grand Hotel de Cadenabbia. The hotels facilities include a restaurant and bar on the rooftop floor with fabulous views of the lake, an outdoor pool, sun terrace and lounge.
