YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Naples. On arrival transfer to your hotel on the Sorrento Peninsula for a five night stay. In the evening enjoy a welcome drink followed by dinner. DAYS 2 TO 5 - Free to relax and enjoy our excursion programme. The following excursions are included: Pompeii - A half day excursion including a guided tour of the ancient city of Pompeii, frozen in time when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD burying the entire area under a layer of hot ash. Amalfi Drive & Ravello - A full day tour featuring a drive along the stunning coastline to Amalfi, then on to Ravello the jewel of the Naples coast. From here you can enjoy magnificent views of the coast below. The following excursions are optional: Capri - A full day excursion travelling by ferry to the wonderful island of Capri. Visit the villages of Capri and Anacapri, the Gardens of Caesar Augustus and see the Faraglioni Rocks. Includes a guided tour. Mount Vesuvius - An exciting half day trip to view the volcano crater itself and walk the rim with a local volcanologist. On the final evening there will be a farewell get-together. DAY 6 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

You will stay in a comfortable three star hotel such as the Hotel Delle Palme in Sant Agata, one of several village resorts in the surrounding area, approximately 2½ miles from Sorrento itself. All bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone. There is a small selection of shops, bars and restaurants and a regular bus service into the centre of Sorrento. Please note other hotels in similar locations may also be used
