You will be enchanted by the delightful Andalucian town of Mijas, which nestles in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas Mountains above the coastal resort of Fuengirola. This pretty spot enjoys a tranquil setting and is an ideal location for a relaxing break.
Whitewashed houses line the charming cobbled streets, many of which are traffic-free. There are plenty of shops selling local arts and crafts, and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Mijas has managed to retain many of its quaint customs including the traditional donkey-taxis which line the central plaza.

You will stay in the superb four star TRH Mijas Hotel in the picturesque village of Mijas. Built in traditional Andalucian style, with breathtaking views over the sea and dramatic coastline, the hotel offers restaurant, bar, swimming pool and gym, also a health & beauty club equipped with sauna, jetted tub, massage treatments and hairdresser. All bedrooms have private facilities, air-conditioning, TV, telephone, hairdryer, safe deposit box, iron and ironing board.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Malaga. On arrival transfer to Mijas for a seven night stay. In the evening enjoy a welcome drink and dinner. DAYS 2 TO 7 - Free to enjoy our included excursions as follows: Mijas & Fuengirola - A half day introductory tour visiting Mijas itself and the popular resort of Fuengirola, where you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade, lined with cafés and restaurants. Ronda - A three-quarter day scenic tour visiting the picturesque cliff-top town of Ronda, with its spectacular location and historic centre. Enjoy the fabulous views from the Puente Nuevo Bridge. Nerja and Frigiliana - A three-quarter day tour visiting the beautiful hill top village of Frigiliana situated at the foothills of the Almijara Mountains and the coastal resort of Nerja with its delightful old town. The following excursions are optional: Alhambra Palace - A full day tour to Granada featuring a visit to this world-famous palace created by the Moors. Gibraltar - A full day excursion to The Rock, including a fascinating tour by mini-coach plus the opportunity of a cable car ride (at extra cost) to the top of the Rock for spectacular views. On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
