Discover two of Italys most enchanting destinations on this fabulous twin centre holiday. Explore the architectural splendours and pretty squares of Venice, one of the most amazing cities in the world, criss-crossed by more than 150 canals and 400 bridges. Then enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding lovely Lake Garda, with the dramatic Dolomites sweeping away to the north and the sun-soaked olive groves, vineyards and citrus trees to the south. Enjoy a boat trip on the crystal clear waters of Italys largest lake.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your flight to Verona, Milan or Bergamo. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Venice-Mestre for a three night stay. Welcome drink at the hotel. DAY 2 - Join our included full day visit to Venice. We cross the causeway seperating Mestre from central Venice and then board a boat to take us to St. Marks Square. You will have plenty of free time to see all the main sights such as the Rialto Bridge, the Doges Palace, and the Basilica di San Marco, stroll around hidden piazzas and maybe take a gondola ride through the network of canals, before returning to our hotel. DAY 3 - Relax or join our optional three-quarter day Lagoon Tour, featuring the fascinating islands of Murano, famous for its glass, Burano for its lace-making and pretty pastel coloured houses, and Torcello for its Venetian-Byzantine cathedral. DAY 4 - We leave Venice-Mestre and transfer to our hotel on Lake Garda for a four night stay on a half board basis. Afternoon at leisure. DAY 5 - We include a full day excursion to some of the beauty spots around Lake Garda. We will stop at one of the many charming resorts, where you can shop, relax, sip a glass of wine and enjoy the spectacular scenery. Theres also an included boat trip on the lake. DAYS 6 & 7 - Relax or join our optional excursions: Verona - A half day tour of one of Italys finest historic and colourful cities. See the impressive Piazza Bra with its ornate fountains and charming pavement cafés, dominated by the magnificent Roman Arena and the famous balcony immortalised in Shakespeares Romeo & Juliet. Dolomites - A spectacular full day scenic tour through the dramatic Alpine landscapes to view this rugged mountain range, which reaches heights of 11,000ft. On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

On Lake Garda you will stay in a three star hotel such as the Hotel Brenzone in Brenzone, and the Hotel Adria in Toscolano. The hotels have a bar and dining room and all bedrooms feature private facilities.
