You will stay in the recently upgraded four star Grand Hotel di Cadenabbia in Cadenabbia. Buffet breakfast and a three course evening meal are included daily and there will be live music on one evening. Hotel facilities include a bar, lounge, restaurant, lift and terrace. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished and feature private facilities, telephone and satellite TV. Lake view rooms and lake view with balcony rooms are available for a supplement.

tueSDaY 23rD Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Milan. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Cadenabbia on Lake Como for a four night stay. Welcome drink followed by dinner this evening. CHriStMaS eVe Today we include a marvellous threequarter day tour to introduce you to the charming lakeside town of Como, the largest on the lake, with free time to wander along the promenade and through the medieval quarter with its ancient city gates. We then take a ferry boat trip up to the picture postcard village of Bellagio for free time to explore this delightful lakeside resort. This evening enjoy a festive Chistmas Eve dinner at your hotel. CHriStMaS DaY Relax or join our optional full day trip featuring a scenic coach journey to Tirano, followed by a spectacular ride on the Bernina Express railway over the spirals and through tunnels of the Bernina Pass, climbing to more than 7,000ft. Journeys end is the exclusive Swiss ski resort of St. Moritz (approx. 2 hrs by train), before returning by coach to Lake Como. Enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner and live music at the hotel this evening. BoXinG DaY We include a three-quarter day scenic tour visiting nearby Lake Lugano, set amongst steep slopes and bordering both Italy and Switzerland. It is smaller than Lake Como but equally charming and the only lake to have a bridge over it connecting the towns of Melide and Bisonne. The main city Lugano combines a lively, modern outlook with its Swiss heritage and culture. Tonight enjoy a farewell get-together dinner at your hotel. SaturDaY 27tH Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
