Your itinerarY
tueSDaY 23rD - Meet your travelling companions at the airport prior to your scheduled flight to Catania. On arrival we transfer to our resort hotel in Taormina Mazzaro for a five night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner this evening. CHriStMaS eVe - Today our included half-day excursion takes us to visit picturesque Taormina. Perched on a clifftop and surrounded by ancient walls, the town has some amazing treasures. The Greco-Roman theatre (extra cost) and views of Mount Etna are absolutely stunning. We return to the hotel for a festive Christmas Eve dinner this evening. CHriStMaS DaY - Today we include a trip to Mount Etna, Europes highest volcano. You will have the chance to see the volcano from the highest point possible, where the views are amazing (off-road transport and guide at extra cost). Tonight we enjoy a festive Christmas dinner back at the hotel. BoXinG DaY - Spend the day relaxing at the hotel, enjoying the charms of Taormina at your own pace, or join our optional full day excursion to Syracuse to explore the old town and visit the island of Oritiga. We return to the hotel for dinner this evening. SaturDaY 27tH - Enjoy a leisurely day or join our optional excursion to Palermo, Sicilys charming capital. We also visit Monreale, with its beautiful 16th century Benedictine Abbey. We will meet up for a farewell drink this evening. SunDaY 28tH - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
