MonDaY 22nD - Meet your travelling companions in the executive lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Bangkok. tueSDaY 23rD - Arrival in Bangkok for a four night stay. Join an optional Rice Barge Cruise. Welcome drink this evening before a special Thai dinner and the performance of traditional dancing. CHriStMaS eVe - Included sightseeing tour of Bangkok and a visit to the Rose Gardens. CHriStMaS DaY - Included morning visit to The Grand Palace. Optional excursion to the floating market at Damnern Saduak. BoXinG DaY - Relax or join our optional visit to the River Kwai, Kanchanaburi, site of the infamous bridge. SaturDaY 27tH - We visit Uthai Thani, the former summer capital of Siam, en route to Phitsanulok for an overnight stay. Optional trishaw ride to see the famous food market at night. SunDaY 28tH - We drive to Sukhothai, the ancient capital of Siam, continue to Si Satachanalai and on to Chiang Rai for a two night stay. MonDaY 29tH - Morning visit to mountain tribe villages and Mae Sai on the Burmese border. Afternoon stop at the ruined city of Chiang Saen on the banks of the Mekong River and an optional boat ride. tueSDaY 30tH - Morning drive to Chiang Mai for a two night stay with a stop en route at the Doi Suthep Temple. Enjoy an optional Bamboo Raft ride along the Ping river. neW YearS eVe - Included visit to an elephant camp on the outskirts of Chiang Mai and perhaps take an optional elephant ride. Afternoon trip to the Chiang Mai cottage industries. neW YearS DaY - We fly back to Bangkok and drive to the beach resort of Cha am for a four night stay. friDaY 2nD - SunDaY 4tH JanuarY 2009 - Free to relax and enjoy the surroundings of your hotel beside the Gulf of Thailand. Farewell drinks at the hotel on Sunday. MonDaY 5tH - Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Evening arrival in the UK.
