Hotels will be confirmed in your final documents. day 9 Victoria We take the ferry across to Victoria on Vancouver Island, the capital of British Columbia, where much of its British Victorian heritage is still preserved. We will visit the marvellous Butchart Gardens, the Parliament Building and the fabled Empress Hotel. Meals: B (day 10) day 7 Vancouver We continue through the rugged Fraser Canyon to Hope and gradually descend through the rich green valleys to Vancouver for a three night stay. As Canada's third largest city, it is a busy seaport and important centre for the fishing and timber industries. Our morning introductory tour of Vancouver takes us to see Chinatown, Gas Town, the remarkable 1,000 acre Stanley Park with its famous totem poles and the magnificent harbour. This afternoon there will be the opportunity to join an optional tour to Vancouver's North Shore featuring the Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. Enjoy a farewell drink this evening.
