On arrival, transfer to your hotel in the Temple Bar district and enjoy a welcome drink. This evening, there will be the opportunity to join in the hotel's Irish music night. DAY 2 Dublin Capital of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin has been the country's principal city for most of its 1,000-year history. Our included morning sightseeing tour takes you around its main attractions, including Trinity College and Dublin Castle. The afternoon is at leisure for you to make your own discoveries. Why not explore the Guinness Storehouse, or Kilmainham Gaol ­ the city's former prison. The city is one of the literary capitals of the world and was designated UNESCO City of Literature in 2010. Literature buffs should visit the Dublin Writers' Museum or the National Library. Alternatively, take a stroll along the beach, or explore the emigrant ship Jeanie Johnston, before we take the train from Dublin to Belfast, where we will spend the next two nights. Meals: B DAY 4 Belfast This year marks the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Titanic. Belfast is where the ship was built and on this morning's included sightseeing tour we visit Titanic's Dock and Pump-House. Walk along the full length of the dock to appreciate the size and scale of the ship and learn about the men and machines who built her. The afternoon is free for you discover Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, at your own pace. We have included a Belfast Visitor Pass which offers free public transport and discounts at many of the city's museums, attractions, shops and restaurants. The city is compact and intimate, easily discovered on foot. Soak up a little of the local culture and heritage by taking a stroll down the waterfront. Visit one of the many gardens and admire the city's rich legacy of Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, including Belfast City Hall, The Grand Opera House, Queen's University and Belfast Castle.
