Our first stop is Belgium where we will see the main attractions of beautiful Brussels. From there, it is on to the Netherlands where we will spend a full day at the floral show Floriade, which only takes place in the region once every 10 years. DAY 1 UK/Brussels Meet your travelling companions and take the Eurostar to Brussels where we will transfer to our hotel in the heart of the city. DAY 2 Brussels This morning we will enjoy a tour of the city, taking in the main highlights including the Grand Place and the Parliament building. This afternoon we will have free time to explore the city. Stroll through the narrow cobbled streets where the scent of freshly baked waffles hangs in the air, sit at a pavement café and watch the world go by or indulge in one of the local specialities such as moules et frites. This evening we will take you to one of the city's restaurants for a welcome dinner. Meals: B/D Brussels GERMANY BELGIUM DAY 3 Floriade Today we will transfer to Venlo where we will enjoy a full day exploring Floriade, a spectacular exhibition of flowers and gardening. Prepare to be dazzled by the displays from hundreds of exhibitors who have descended upon Greenport Venlo. Five themed zones spread over 66 hectares will showcase some of the world's most stunning flowers, plants and trees, as well as a huge variety of fruit and vegetables. Floriade 2012 also offers a varied cultural experience with dance, music, theatre, literature and visual art, making it an event that must not be missed.
