DAY 1 UK/Paris Local departure by coach and an afternoon crossing to Calais. You will arrive this evening at your Paris hotel where you will enjoy a welcome drink and dinner before retiring for the evening. Meals: D DAYS 2-3 Paris With its seductive architecture, superb shopping, delicious gastronomic delights and a vibrant night life - Paris is a city which really does have it all. This enchanting city is famous for its romantic ambience and you can soak it all up as you sit in one of the pavement cafés and people watch, just like the locals. You will have the opportunity to relax and spend time getting to know Paris. Alternatively enjoy your choice of included and optional excursions. Meals: B The following excursion is included: Capital Tour - Our full day comprehensive tour takes you to the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Champs Elysées. After a panoramic tour of the main sights, explore the city further in the company of your travelling companions before the coach returns us to the hotel. The following excursions are optional: Versailles & Paris - Join your Tour Manager for this magical full day trip visiting the magnificent formal gardens of Versailles, where you can almost feel the presence of the kings and courtiers (includes entrance to the palace gardens only). Continue with a transfer into Paris, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip on the Seine (at extra cost) before returning to the hotel. Paris by Night & Montparnasse Tower - Experience an evening in the city, taking in the superb panoramic views from the top of the Montparnasse Tower. Evening transfer to Montmartre - Visit the charming artists' haunt, Montmartre, with its quaint, winding streets and pretty squares, dominated by the glorious Basilica of Sacré Coeur. On the evening of day 3 there will be a farewell drink and get-together. DAY 4 Paris/UK After breakfast this morning we bid farewell to Paris as we join a late afternoon crossing to the UK.
