Sorrento & Lemon groves - We start today with a fascinating walking tour of Sorrento where we will encounter all of the highlights of this great town. Afterwards we head to a limoncello producer where we will get a chance to taste this traditional Italian drink whilst admiring the lemon groves. The following excursions are optional: Positano - A half day optional excursion to the picturesque coastal town of Positano, where the characteristic pastel coloured buildings cling precariously to the rock face. Pompeii - Join our half day excursion to Pompeii, the famous Roman town frozen in time by the eruption of nearby volcano Vesuvius in 79AD, leaving a fascinating collection of ruins and a remarkable insight into the last days of this doomed city.
