On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where you will stay for two nights. Relax this afternoon in the gardens and by the pool at your hotel. Meals: B day 6 iguaēu Falls Today, we include a full-day tour to the Iguaēu National Park and to explore the Argentine side of the falls. It is a sight of stunning beauty and magnitude. Our visit takes us on the train that leads through the national park to the walkways that criss-cross both the top and the bottom of the falls, with plenty of opportunity to see and to experience the myriad falls up close. Meals: B day 7 iguaēu Falls/ Rio de Janeiro Having explored the falls close up from Argentina, today we view the mesmerising Iguaēś Falls from the Brazilian side. Approaching from this side you will be rewarded with panoramic views which offer you the opportunity to better understand the immense scale of the falls. You'll also be able to follow the walkways that take you almost into the centre of the Devil's Throat. This afternoon, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Rio de Janeiro. We stay in this exciting city for the next three nights. Meals: B day 8 Rio de Janeiro Rio is unique bursting with energy, excitement and entertainment. It is beautifully situated beneath Sugar Loaf Mountain and blessed with magnificent beaches such as Copacabana and Ipanema. It has the world's largest football stadium, pretty parks and the most legendary night life. With its exciting rhythms, bustling shops and fashionable bars, it is an informal and intriguing city. Our full day tour of Rio starts with a drive along both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches en route to the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain, which we will ascend in the cable car for spectacular views across the city. Our tour then takes us through the city centre past the Opera House, and the National Theatre. We break for lunch in a local restaurant. Meals: B/L day 9 Rio de Janeiro Morning included tour to Corcovado and the Statue of Christ the Redeemer, climbing to the top aboard the small cog railway. The views from the top are simply incredible. This evening there is a farewell dinner. Meals: B/D day 10 Rio de Janeiro/UK There will be free time to buy a few last souvenirs and gifts in Rio de Janeiro this morning before transferring to the airport for our return flight to the UK.
