YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your flight to Pula. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a seven night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner this evening. DAYS 2 TO 7 Free to relax and enjoy our great range of included walks and excursions as follows: Rabac Nature Walk - This lovely half day walk in the Karst area k around Rabac is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy beautiful scenery and visit the charming villages of Kosi and Ripenda (approx. 4 hours' walk). Green Istria - This full day walk takes us uphill to the village of Gondolici, then to the peak of Ostri. We then head to the pretty village of Skitaca, one of the highest villages in the area (approx. 5 hours' walk). After an included lunch in a mountain hut, you are then free to enjoy the views over Kvarner Bay or visit the Church of St. Lucia. We return by coach to the hotel. Discover Labin - Today we take a half day walking tour to nearby Labin. Along the way we visit the Church of St. Hadrian and the village of Lovronci (approx. 4 hours' walk). Sisol Mountain - A challenging full day trip offering stunning views from the peak of Mount Sisol over Kvarner Bay. We travel by coach to Brsec, from where we follow the mountain path to the summit. On our descent we visit the town of Plomin. Here you will enjoy an included traditional fish lunch. We also visit the baroque Church of St. George (approx. 6 hours' walk). Plitvice Lakes - A full day of stunning scenery in Croatia's Plitvice National Park. Opatija - A half day visit to this popular resort on Kvarner Bay. DAY 8 Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Croatia is home to some of the most beautiful coastal scenery in Europe. This warm and welcoming destination is also a treasure trove of historical and cultural heritage, just waiting for you to discover on our marvellous walking programme.
Open in high season, you can also eat à la carte in the Conca d'Oro restaurant and grill/pizzeria bar at an extra cost. All bedrooms have private facilities, satellite TV and telephone. Standard rooms are at the rear of the hotel overlooking the access road. Front facing rooms with or without balcony are available at a supplement, some have a view of the sea and most have views of the swimming pools or the attractive gardens.

WALKING INFORMATION
Our walks require a reasonable level of fitness and ideally some previous walking experience. You will need comfortable walking boots, a small rucksack, waterproofs, Y a hat and sunglasses. A local guide will also accompany you on your walks. Grade 1 Walks These are for anyone of any age. Plenty of rest stops and time to enjoy the local scenery with up to 4 hours walking a day, mostly on good paths but occasionally rough underfoot. Ascent less than 300m per day. Grade 2 Walks These are moderate, for anyone who is comfortable walking hills. Still plenty of time to rest and enjoy the scenery, however up to 5 hours walking a day on slightly more rugged terrain. Ascent less than 500m per day. Grade 3 Walks These are more strenuous, for the more accomplished hill walker. More continuous stretches of trekking totaling about 5 hours a day, often in mountainous terrain where paths can be steep. Ascent up to 1000m per day.

YOUR HOTELS
Y You will stay in the popular Complesso dei Fiori (Flower Complex), comprising the Hotels Narcis, Hedera and Mimosa, a short walk from the centre of Rabac and overlooking the white shingle beach on Maslinica Bay. Facilities include lifts, two indoor (available only in low season) and two outdoor swimming pools, gym, live music and entertainment, plus sauna, solarium and massage at extra charge. The restaurant serves buffet breakfast including hot dishes and four course buffet dinner with local drinks included.
