YOUR HOTEL
The delightful four star Hotel Les Palmeres in Calella is located just over 100yds from the beach. Facilities include a bar, buffet-style restaurant, TV lounge, outdoor swimming pool, pool-side bar, lift and garden. Entertainment is provided by the hotel on some evenings. All bedrooms have private facilities, balcony/terrace, airconditioning, telephone, TV, hairdryer and minibar.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Barcelona. On arrival transfer to your resort hotel and enjoy a welcome drink followed by dinner. DAYS 2 TO 5 Free to enjoy our included excursions as follows: Barcelona - A full day excursion to one of Europe's most exciting cities. Barcelona is packed with great sights, fascinating museums, super shops and traditional tapas bars. The eccentric architecture of Gaudí is not to be missed, particularly the apartment building La Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Take a stroll down the famous Las Ramblas, where there is always something to see, to the Columbus Monument and the old Port Vell. Coastline Tour - A three-quarter day drive along the spectacular coastline of the Costa Brava including a visit to the traditional Spanish seaside town of San Feliu de Guíxols. Montserrat - A three-quarter day tour visiting the cliff-side Monastery of Montserrat, which dates back to 1844. At its heart is the statue of the Virgin of Montserrat, carved in the 12th century, and the famous Montserrat Boys' Choir. The following excursion is optional: Gerona - A half day tour to this fascinating medieval town on the banks of the River Onyar. The old town, the Rambla de la Libertat, contains quaint shops and traditional street cafés. On the final evening enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 6 Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
