This classic two-centre holiday takes you to fascinating Moscow, the heart of Russia, and historic St. Petersburg, Peter the Great's `Window on Europe'. With our selection of included and optional excursions, you'll discover the best of these exciting destinations.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on y ght to Moscow. Transfer to your hotel for a four night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink. DAYS 2 TO 4 Free to enjoy our included excursions as follows: Moscow - A morning panoramic tour of the city to see the major sights such as The Kremlin, Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral. The Kremlin - A tour of the grounds of the Kremlin territory and a visit to the Cathedral of the Assumption. Shopping & Arbat Street - A visit to this lively shopping area. The following optional trips or activities will also normally be available and can be booked with your Tour Manager once in Moscow. Armoury - See the fascinating collection of royal regalia (available as an extension to the Kremlin tour). Metro - Admire the ornate stations and take a ride on the Moscow Metro. Evening Event - See the circus, opera or ballet (subject to availability). DAY 5 Travel to St. Petersburg by train, accompanied by your Tour Manager and Russian guide. On arrival in St. Petersburg transfer to your hotel for a three night stay on a half board basis. DAYS 6 & 7 Free to enjoy our included excursions as follows: St. Petersburg - A panoramic tour to view the Hermitage, the Admiralty and more. Petrodvorets - A full day excursion featuring Peter the Great's Summer Palace. Peter & Paul Fortress - A half day excursion to the place where Peter the Great laid the foundation stone of the city. The following optional trips will also normally be available and can be booked with your Tour Manager once in St. Petersburg. The Hermitage - Visit the Hermitage, one of the finest art collections in the world, housed in the Winter Palace. Pushkin - A visit to Catherine the Great's Summer Palace. At the end of Day 7 enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 8 Transfer to St. Petersburg Airport for the return flight to the UK.

YOUR HOTELS
Accommodation throughout is in large, three or four star medium grade hotels. Amenities include bar, restaurant, lift and bedrooms feature TV, telephone and private facilities. In Moscow you will stay in the Congress Iris Hotel or similar, approximately 5 miles from the centre. In St. Petersburg you will stay in the Hotel Pulkovskaya or similar, around 7 miles from the centre.
REVERSE ITINERARY
Some departures operate flying from Heathrow to St. Petersburg, returning from Moscow. The tour content is exactly the same as detailed.
