This fascinating holiday features three of Eastern Europe's most captivating cities. Discover enchanting Prague with its wealth of medieval architecture, continue to Vienna, Austria's wonderful capital, with a timeless style and elegance, and then visit the exciting Hungarian capital, Budapest.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Prague. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink before dinner. DAY 2 One of Europe's most popular destinations, Prague is a wonderful city to explore and enjoy. Known as the `Golden City', few visitors could fail to be impressed and enchanted by the stunning architecture, deep sense of history and fascinating traditions. The historic centre is ideal for exploring on foot and the shops, cafes and bars make it a delightful place to visit. Join our included full day excursion to Prague Old Town. This morning enjoy a walking tour of the main sights with an official guide, including Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, and the 14th century Charles Bridge where you will find local artists selling a variety of their handmade arts and crafts. The afternoon is free for shopping and further sightseeing in the old town before your coach takes you back to your hotel. DAY 3 We leave Prague after breakfast and visit the pretty town of Telc, before reaching Vienna for a three night stay in the area. Austria's stylish capital has to be one of Europe' most beautiful cities. Renowned for its historic association with music, this city on the majestic River Danube is filled with stunning architecture and a wealth of monuments to its glorious past. DAYS 4 & 5 Free to enjoy our included excursions as follows: Vienna Discover the famous sights of this splendid city on our morning tour from the imposing Gothic spire of St. Stephen's Cathedral, to the grandeur of the Hofburg Palace and the rococo style of the Schönbrunn Palace, with visits to the Opera House, Musikverein and more. The afternoon is free to explore further at your own pace and perhaps enjoy windowshopping along the Mariahilferstrasse. Vienna is famous for its café culture and there's nothing like relaxing over a traditional Austrian coffee and enjoying a slice of the famous Sacher Torte. The coach will then return you to your hotel. Vienna Woods & Baden Enjoy a half day scenic tour of Vienna Woods visiting the old spa town of Baden. DAY 6 After breakfast, we leave Vienna and make a stop in the historic town of Eisenstadt, capital of Austria's Burgenland region, before reaching Budapest for a two night stay. DAY 7 Hungary's fascinating capital is exquisitely set out on both sides of the Danube, with the modern buildings and busy streets of Pest on one side and the historic quarters of Buda on the other, linked by eight bridges spanning the mighty river. Join our included full day excursion to explore the twin cities of Budapest. Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour with an official guide to show you the major sights on both sides of the river, including Heroes' Square, the Fisherman's Bastion and St. Matthias Church. The afternoon is free to explore further or perhaps go shopping at the large indoor market in the Great Market Hall before the coach will take you back to the hotel. This evening enjoy a farewell get-together. DAY 8 Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Evening Transfers Optional coach transfers will be available into the centre of Prague, Vienna and Budapest to experience the atmosphere at night.

Y You will stay in comfortable medium grade hotels such as the Hotel Ostruvek in the centre of Prague, the k Wienerwald Steinberger Hotel in the Vienna Woods and the newly renovated Hotel Hunor on the outskirts of Budapest. All hotels have a bar, restaurant and lift, and bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone.
