The lovely French region of Provence has long been a favourite destination for British holidaymakers. The beautiful landscape, wonderful climate, enchanting villages and fine wines guarantee good times and great memories.
Based in a quaint 19th century hotel in the pretty town of Cavaillon, our holiday brings you the best of Provence. The town has a rich heritage and some marvellous architecture as well as a good selection of shops and restaurants.

Your hotel
You will stay in the charming Hotel du Parc in Cavaillon, a centrally located, converted 19th century family house. Features include a terrace patio, bar and all rooms have satellite TV, telephone and private facilities. Please note this hotel does not have a lift. Dinners on the first and last night are included at a nearby restaurant. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but there is a good selection nearby. Each evening your Tour Manager will make arrangements for those who wish to dine together.

Your itinerarY
DaY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and depart on your scheduled flight to Marseille. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Cavaillon for a seven night stay. A welcome drink and dinner are included this evening in a nearby restaurant. DaYS 2 to 7 - Free to relax and enjoy our programme of excursions. The following are included: Gordes - Explore this ancient village known for its beauty and artistic ambience on our half day excursion. Aix-en-Provence - Wander along the wide boulevards of this lovely spa town and Cezannes birthplace. Browse through the shops, stroll around the narrow streets and visit the attractive main square, town hall and medieval cathedral. The following excursions are optional: Avignon - A morning walking tour of the old quarter in the company of a local guide, including entrance to the Popes Palace. We also take a gentle cruise on the River Rhône to Villeneuve-les-Avignon. Pont du Gard & Nimes - A full day tour including a visit to the celebrated Roman aqueduct, the Pont du Gard. We also visit the ancient town of Nimes, and enjoy a wine tasting at the famous Châteauneuf du Pape wine cellars. Arles & the Camargue - The unique landscape of the Camargue and the quaint town of Arles are brought together on this enjoyable full day tour. On the final evening enjoy a farewell dinner at a nearby restaurant. DaY 8 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
