This superb tour includes a number of game drives including one at the famous Etosha National Park, with lots of opportunities to see lion, zebra, cheetah, leopard, elephant and rhino. Plus enjoy oysters and champagne aboard a marine cruise to Bird Island and the sea colony at Pelican Point. With a blend of exciting days and relaxing nights, this holiday has something for everyone.
Your itinerArY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the executive airport lounge and depart on your scheduled flight to Windhoek. DAY 2 - Arrival in Windhoek, then head north to your Lodge in Okonjima, for an overnight stay. Late afternoon arrival before welcome dinner at the lodge. DAY 3 - Early morning game drive. After breakfast depart for Etosha National Park, one of the finest game reserves in southern Africa. Along the way we visit Okahandja, the Kavango Woodcarvers Market and Lake Otjikoto. Continue to our Lodge, just outside the park, for a two night stay. Included game drive late afternoon. This evening dinner is at the lodge. DAY 4 - A day of game drives in Etosha with the chance to see zebra, Wildebeast, Kudu and Impala in the grassveld and watch the animals come down to the edge of the famous salt pans. Dinner at the lodge this evening. DAY 5 - Drive via Outjo and Khorixas to your next Lodge, arriving late afternoon for an overnight stay. Dinner at the lodge. DAY 6 - Included tour around Twyfelfontein, featuring hundreds of rock engravings and the bizarre rock formations called Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain. Continue to Swakopmund, for a two night stay. DAY 7 - Drive to Walvis Bay for a morning cruise to Bird Island and the seal colony at Pelican Point. Enjoy Walvis Bay oysters, snacks and chilled champagne on board before returning to Walvis Bay. Afternoon free to relax. DAY 8 - Depart for Namib Naukluft Park, an eerie yet beautiful place of shifting dunes and stunted plants. Transfer to your Lodge for a two night stay. Dinner at the lodge this evening. DAY 9 - This morning you visit the Sossusvlei, a large clay pan surrounded by towering sand dunes, and Sesriem Canyon. Afternoon free with optional sundowner drive. Dinner at the lodge. DAY 10 - Depart for Windhoek, where we include a short city tour before a farewell dinner and an overnight stay. DAY 11 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. DAY 12 - Arrival in the UK.

All rooms feature private facilities. Hotel amenities include restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Please note that accommodation at the Okonjima Lodge at the Africat Foundation is in shared rooms.
