One of the most fascinating and rewarding of all our holidays has to be a visit to the game reserves of East Africa. The grace, beauty and sheer excitement of nature's finest animals roaming free in their natural surroundings is an experience that no one ever forgets. Combine this with a stay at a fabulous beach resort, and you have the perfect holiday.
The game parks of Kenya are packed with amazing wildlife. This fabulous holiday gives you plenty of opportunity for game viewing, visiting no less than four reserves. And you'll have plenty of time to relax with eight nights at a beach club hotel on Bamburi Beach. game drive, return to the Mara Simba Lodge for a two night stay. DAY 7 - Early morning game drive and breakfast at the A lodge. Alternatively you can enjoy an optional balloon trip including a champagne breakfast (at extra cost). Rest of the day free to relax or join a final game drive. Lunch and dinner at the lodge. DAY 8 - Morning departure for the drive to Nairobi. A Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mombasa. On arrival transfer to the Travellers Club Hotel for an all-inclusive eight night stay. DAYS 9 TO 15 - Mombasa is the premier resort on A Africa's Indian Ocean coastline. Bamburi Beach is a lively resort, with fine white sandy beaches. Enjoy the use of the hotel's sports facilities, indulge in some exciting water sports activities, or simply relax and soak up the sunshine on the glorious beach it's up to you! Farewell get-together on the last evening. DAY 16 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to A the UK. Arrival in the UK later the same day.
YOUR HOTELS
All accommodation during the first part of your holiday is in twin shared rooms at various lodges within the featured National Parks. You will be paired up with another Just You traveller of the same sex. The lodges are simple in design but comfortable, with private facilities. All feature a restaurant and bar, and special viewing facilities. Please note safari routings and/or lodges may vary from those stated for operational reasons. For the second part of your tour you will stay in your own room at the Travellers Club Hotel, located on Bamburi Beach. Hotel facilities include a number of restaurants and two bars. As part of your all-inclusive stay you will have free use of various hotel facilities including a gym, windsurfing, paddle boats, snorkelling and a trial diving lesson in the pool. You can also take part in tennis, volleyball, squash, darts, table tennis and board games. Entertainment is provided each evening and complimentary soft drinks, local beers, spirits and house wines are available between 10am and midnight.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the A executive lounge prior to your special charter overnight flight to Mombasa. DAY 2 - Arrival in Mombasa followed by a transfer A to the Voi Lodge for an overnight stay. Enjoy an included lunch before the first of your game drives. The Tsavo East National Park is Kenya's largest reserve k and home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebra, buffalos and elephants. Welcome drink and dinner back at the lodge. DAY 3 - Morning drive to Amboseli National Park, A set beneath the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. An included lunch at the Ol Tukai Lodge is followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Overnight accommodation and dinner at the lodge. DAY 4 - Early morning return to the park followed by A breakfast. You then drive to Nairobi for an included lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant before continuing to Lake Elementaita Lodge in the Great Rift Valley. Accommodation for two nights at the lodge. DAY 5 - Early morning departure for the drive to A Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake is home to lesser flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and terns. Although small in comparison to Kenya's other parks it has a huge concentration of game including the endangered rhino. After a morning game drive, enjoy lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon lakeshore game drive before returning to the Lake Elementaita Lodge for dinner. DAY 6 - Early morning start for the drive to the famous A Masai Mara Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the `Big Five' lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo and each year is the spectacular setting for the great wildebeest and zebra migration. After an afternoon
