YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions at the airport and A depart on your scheduled flight to Kathmandu. DAY 2 - On arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. A Enjoy a welcome drink this evening. DAY 3 - Our morning half day tour of Kathmandu includes A visits to the Temple of the Living Goddess, the Stupa of Swayambhunath, Durbar Square, the Palace of the Kings of Nepal and the current Royal Palace. Afternoon visit to the holy Hindu site at Pashupatinath, and Boudhnath, one of the world's largest stupas. DAY 4 - Optional Everest flight (subject to weather conditions, A available Oct-Nov). Transfer to Pokhara for a two night stay. DAY 5 - Weather permitting, enjoy a spectacular sunrise over A the Annapurna mountain range. The valley of Pokhara is one of the world's most picturesque natural attractions. Included half day tour of Pokhara, with a boat ride on Lake Phewa. DAY 6 - Morning flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to Dhulikhel A for a two nights stay. We will stop en route at Bhadgaon. DAY 7 - Relax or explore Dhulikhel with its breathtaking views A over the Himalayas on an optional guided walk. DAY 8 - Morning free. Afternoon transfer to Kathmandu for an A overnight stay. A farewell get-together this evening. DAY 9 - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. After 3 days' sightseeing in Kathmandu, Pashupatinath, Bodhnath and Bhadgaon we drive to Nayapul for our 6 day walking programme in the foothills of the Annapurnas. Our walks take us into the valley of the Modi Khola, lively Pothana with its restaurants and shops, a scenic trek to Phedi, also an elephant safari, guided jungle walk and boat safari in Chitwan National Park. We return to Kathmandu on day 11 and enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner before flying home the next day. NB: You will share twin bedded rooms during the trekking portion of the tour. You will stay in good, tourist grade hotels such as the Hotel Himalaya in Kathmandu and the Shangrila Village in Pokhara. Hotel facilities include bar, restaurant and swimming pool.
