Starting in the bustling city of Winnipeg, the geographical centre of Canada, our tour continues to the remote city and port of Churchill on the edge of Hudson Bay, named the `Polar Bear Capital of the World' lying as it does on a key migration route. Each year in the autumn along the west shore of Hudson Bay, polar bears congregate, waiting for the bay to freeze so they can venture out onto the ice to hunt seals. As with all natural events of this kind no guarantees can be given on the number of bears that may be seen, but the chance to see them in their natural habitat is an experience to be cherished. Finally it's on to Toronto, situated on the northern shores of T Lake Ontario where we include a city tour as well as a visit to the amazing Niagara Falls.

YOUR HOTELS
Accommodation throughout your holiday will be in comfortable, medium grade hotels. You will stay in hotels Y such as the Comfort Inn in Winnipeg, the Lazy Bear Lodge, Churchill Motel or Seaport Hotel in Churchill, and the Delta Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. All rooms feature private facilities, T TV and telephone.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the executive A lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Winnipeg. On arrival transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. DAY 2 - Morning free in Winnipeg. It is an easy city to walk A around, with many areas of original turn-of-the-century architecture, a rich testament to Winnipeg's boom years. Midday transfer to the airport for your flight to Churchill. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for a three night stay. Welcome drink and dinner this evening. DAY 3 - Join our Tundra Buggy (a heated, specially designed A viewing vehicle travelling on enormous tyres) which offers a safe but unobstructed view of the bears. Your first view of a Y polar bear in the wild is unforgettable. This is a full day tour with lunch included. DAY 4 - This morning join our included cultural and historical A tour of the town and surrounding area. The afternoon is free to explore. DAY 5 - A second full day out on the Tundra observing the A behaviour of the polar bears in their natural surroundings. Lunch is included. Following dinner you will transfer to the airport for your return flight to Winnipeg. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. DAY 6 - After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to A Toronto for a three night stay. DAY 7 - A morning included sightseeing tour of Toronto, A T featuring the main sights. Stop at the CN Tower and take an optional ride to the top for a terrific overview of the city and Lake Ontario.
