YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the A executive lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Cuba. On arrival in Holguin, in the south of the island, transfer to Guardalavaca for a two night stay. Welcome drink on arrival. DAY 2 - Guardalavaca boasts dazzling white sands to A laze on, fringed by cooling palm trees a wonderfully relaxing start to any Caribbean holiday! Today is free to relax on the beach or take a short local optional trip to see the native Indian necropolis of Chorro de Maita. DAY 3 - Depart Guardalavaca for the scenic drive A through the Sierra Maestra Mountains, continuing on to Santiago de Cuba. Today we have included a visit to the Castillo del Morro, a magnificent castle at the entrance to the bay. Lunch is included prior to transferring to your hotel for a two night stay. A city sightseeing tour is included during your stay. DAY 4 - This morning we have included a visit to A the Granjita Siborney and National Park. Afternoon free to enjoy Santiago de Cuba. During the evening, experience salsa music on an included visit to Casa de la Trova. DAY 5 - Depart Santiago de Cuba for the drive to the A Camaguey area. You will pass through small villages and cattle farming regions en route stopping for a brief visit in Bayamo. Continue to your hotel for an overnight stay. DAY 6 - Depart for Trinidad via Sancti Spiritus, for A a two night stay. Transfer to your beach hotel resort. From the cobbled streets to the pretty Plaza Mayor, Trinidad's centre is lovely and compact and there is much to explore. DAY 7 - A half day visit around Trinidad is included A today. Afternoon free to explore more or relax at your hotel. DAY 8 - Today we have included a visit to the A Botanical gardens; run by the government since 1961 and one of the largest in Latin America, with over 2,000 different species of plants. Continue on to Cienfuegos where you will have a short sightseeing tour prior to transferring to your hotel for a two night stay. DAY 9 - Day at leisure or take an optional excursion A to Santa Clara, a strategic site during the two wars of independence and the Revolution. DAY 10 - Today you will travel to the awe-inspiring A mountains and lush vegetation of the Viñales Valley and Pinar del Rio follow the coast and see the Bay of Pigs. Overnight accommodation has been arranged. DAY 11 - Sightseeing and an included lunch, you will A then continue to Havana. Continue to your hotel for a three night stay.
DAY 12 - Today we have included a full sightseeing A programme, including Old Havana, where you will see the Plaza de Armas, the old Presidential Palace, and the Cathedral Square and pay a visit to a cigar factory. DAY 13 - Chance for further morning sightseeing. This A afternoon join a salsa dancing class; you are welcome to watch or join in. This evening we have included a special farewell dinner and drink.
