Argentina & Brazil South America Argentina & Brazil 10 days from £2519 Fly from Heathrow or from your local airport From buzzing Buenos Aires to exciting Rio de Janeiro, this tour visits two of South America's most vibrant cities. Combine this with the spectacular natural beauty of Iguacu Falls, and you will be amazed from start to finish. Many meals, excursions and added extras are included in this great value for money holiday of a lifetime. YOUR ITINERARY A AY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the executive lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Buenos Aires. DAY 2 - Arrive in Buenos Aires, Argentina's A cosmopolitan capital, and transfer to your hotel for a three night stay. Situated on the estuary of the famous River Plate, Buenos Aires is considered to be the most elegant city in South America. This afternoon there will be an included city tour with lunch. You will visit the Plaza de Mayo where the Casa Rosada (Government House) is situated, along with the Cathedral of Buenos Aires. From here continue to La Boca, renowned for its brightly painted houses and now an artists' colony. The dazzling dance, Tango, is said to have originated here. A visit will be made to the Recoleta Cemetery, burial place of Eva Peron. Welcome dinner and drink are included this evening. DAY 3 - Next an included tour to the Tigre Delta. A First you will visit the city's northern districts of Martinez and San Isidro before joining a leisurely boat ride through the inland waterways of the Parana Delta. This evening enjoy an included dinner and exciting Tango show. DAY 4 - Today we have included a full day tour to the A heart of Argentina's Pampas. Here you will experience a day at a typical `estancia' (ranch) and see the `gauchos' (cowboys) displaying their horsemanship skills. A typical Argentine barbecue lunch is included today. DAY 5 - Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguaçu A Falls. On arrival you will be taken on a walking tour of the Argentine side of the falls. Situated at the meeting point of three countries (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina) the awe-inspiring Iguacu Falls are one of the world's largest natural wonders. They are higher than Niagara, wider than Victoria and consist of 275 separate falls, pouring eight million gallons of water every second into the swirling river below. You will then cross over the border into Brazil. Overnight accommodation on the Brazilian side of the falls has been reserved for you. This evening we have included dinner at the hotel. DAY 6 - Morning included walking tour of the Brazilian A side of the falls. From here transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro, for a three night stay. Rio is unique ­ bursting with energy, excitement and entertainment. It is beautifully situated beneath Sugar Loaf Mountain and blessed with magnificent beaches such as Copacabana and Ipanema. It has the world's largest football stadium, pretty parks and the most legendary night life. With its exciting rhythms, bustling shops and fashionable bars, it is an informal and intriguing city. Included sunset tour to Sugar Loaf Mountain with spectacular views followed by an included dinner at a local restaurant. DAY 7 - Morning included tour to Corcovado Statue A of Christ (the Redeemer), climbing to the top in a small cog railway, followed by an optional Rio de Janeiro city tour. Afternoon and evening at leisure. DAY 8 - Included full day excursion to the tropical A islands, with lunch. This evening there will be a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
