DAY 9 - Morning departure for Chiang Mai where two A nights' accommodation has been arranged. En route stop at Doi Suthep Temple. Today there is an optional Bamboo Raft ride along the Ping river. DAY 10 - Included visit to an elephant camp on A the outskirts of Chiang Mai. A memorable optional elephant ride will be available. Afternoon trip to the Chiang Mai cottage industries. DAY 11 - Transfer to the airport for the return flight A to Bangkok. Transfer by coach to the beach resort of Pattaya for a four night stay.

DAYS 12 TO 14 - Free to relax and enjoy the A surroundings of your hotel beside the Gulf of Thailand. Farewell drinks at the hotel on Day 14. A DAY 15 - Morning transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Evening arrival in the UK.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Meet your travelling companions in the A executive lounge prior to your scheduled flight to Bangkok. DAY 2 - Arrival in Bangkok for a four night stay. Join a A fascinating optional Rice Barge Cruise to see scenes of a disappearing rural way of life. This evening there will be a welcome drink followed by a special Thai dinner, with a performance of traditional dancing. DAY 3 - Included sightseeing tour of Bangkok and a A visit to the Rose Gardens. DAY 4 - Included morning visit to The Grand Palace. A Optional excursion to the up-country floating market at Damnern Saduak. DAY 5 - Free time in Bangkok or join our optional visit A to the River Kwai, Kanchanaburi, site of the infamous bridge. DAY 6 - Depart Bangkok for Uthai Thani, former A summer capital of Siam, before continuing to Phitsanulok for an overnight stay. Optional trishaw k ride to see the famous food market at night. DAY 7 - Depart Phitsanulok for the drive to Chiang A Rai, stopping en route in Sukhothai, ancient capital of Siam. Continue north to Si Satachanalai then Chiang Rai for a two night stay. DAY 8 - Morning visit to mountain tribe villages and A Mae Sai, located on the border with Burma. Afternoon stop at the ruined city of Chiang Saen on the banks of the Mekong River. Enjoy an optional boat ride along the Mekong.

You will stay in the D'ma Pavilion Hotel in Bangkok, Topland Hotel in Phitsanulok, Wiang Inn in Chiang Rai, Empress Hotel in Chiang Mai and the Siam Bayview in Pattaya. All rooms have private facilities. Most hotels have a bar and restaurant.
