On a Keycamp holiday, theres always plenty to do. From walking and cycling to watersports, its all here. Many sites are close to beaches, lakes or rivers with canoes available for hire. Youll also nd cycle hire, golf, shing, horse-riding and more besides. So if the active life is for you, choose one of our Super-Active or Action and Adventure sites. Just look for the icons on the site pages.
Walking Notes
Written by an experienced walker and featuring a wealth of information on local history, geology, flora and fauna and detailing at least five walks.
Sports & Activities
Most of our sites offer a wide range of sports and activities, from organised football to fly fishing. The choices are endless. So these are just a few suggestions from the many, many possibilities.
Walking
Again, most of our sites offer ideal walking country. But the countryside of Jura and the Alps have to be among the most spectacular. Ideal sites: Lac de Chalain p115; Aiguebelette p117. Available at a number of sites, but the Dordogne and the Ardeche are particular favourites amongst our customers. Cycling Notes
Notes include high scale maps and directions, feature rides that have been researched, ridden and written about by experienced cyclists.
Canoeing

Notes include a map, directions and opening times for many vineyards, together with details of the varieties of wine you can taste.
Watersports Why not try your hand at

Fishing Fishing is available free on many of our sites. Ideal sites: Vendee - St Julien, La Foret p57; Ile de France - Berny Riviere p70. Scuba Diving Lessons in this popular
activity with PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) recognised courses are widely available. Ideal sites: Languedoc - Argeles, La Sirene p102; Cote dAzur - Frejus, Colombier p108. A wonderful way to explore the countryside, whether you are an experienced equestrian or a complete beginner. Our Châteaux Notes recall the histories of the châteaux as well as a high scale map, detailed directions, admission prices and opening hours.
Golf
Northern France offers a wealth of golf courses. Three of our sites even feature courses on site. Ideal sites: Brittany - Dol-de-Bretagne p34; The Loire - Pierrefitte p77; Italy - Caorle p129. While most of our sites offer cycle hire and places to go, the countryside of the Vendee has many cycle routes. You can find details of them in your Keycamp Site Notes.
