Barcelona The ancient capital of Catalonia with shops and cafés in the Ramblas quarter. The highlight is Gaudis incredible unnished cathedral, La Sagrada Familia. Sitges Developed as a summer resort for the wealthy citizens of Barcelona, Sitges is a delightful mixture of old and new. The town hosts the Fiesta Major, a celebration of its patron Sant Bartolomeu, for a week in late August. Pals A medieval hill-top village with wonderful views of the bay and Medas Islands.
Cantabria
Santander A lively bustling port with splendid beaches and superb shops. The Santander Music Festival takes place during the month of August. Bilbao Visit the famous Guggenheim Museum with many ne examples of modern art, and the old town on the banks of the Nervión.
