Known as the home of the walking safari, nothing can be more exciting than encountering game whilst on foot with an expert guide by your side. If you are lucky you can expect to see elephant, giraffe, lion and hyena to name but a few. In such a large country distances can be long and the roads are poor, hence you will find that there are flights by light aircraft in some itineraries, which not only get you to the camps quicker but also give you a birds eye view of the countryside on the way. If you are looking for some adventure then Victoria Falls is the place for adrenaline junkies, with white water rafting and bungee jumping high on the list of things to do for the visitor.
