On arrival transfer approx. 45 minutes to Lion Sands Game Reserve (p84) for three nights at the River Lodge, with game activities and meals included.
DAY 2
On arrival transfer to Kwa Madwala Game Reserve for four nights at Manyatta Rock Lodge (p91) including all meals and game drives.
DAY 2
On arrival connect with your onward South African Airways flight to George, from where you transfer approx. 80 minutes to Knysna. Spend two nights here at the Elephant Hide guest house (p58), dramatically set overlooking the famous lagoon in a Standard room including breakfast.
DAY 3 TO DAY 4
Enjoy morning and evening game drives in the beguiling atmosphere of the African bush, retiring each night to the comfort of the superb lodge. DAY 5 Fly South African Airways from Kruger Mpumalanga airport direct to Cape Town. On arrival transfer to the Cape Cadogan boutique hotel (p45) for three nights in a Standard room including breakfast. DAY 6 TO DAY 7 Explore Cape Town at your own leisure from this central and charming base. DAY 8 South African Airways flight direct from Cape Town to Mauritius for four nights at the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort (p183) in a Deluxe room including breakfast and dinner. DAY 12 Air Mauritius overnight flight to Heathrow, arriving the next day. Departures daily on request.
DAY 3 TO DAY 5
Enjoy game drives on the reserve plus one to the nearby Kruger Park, or try the optional activities such as a microlite flight over the reserve. DAY 6 Fly Pelican Air from Kruger Mpumulanga to Vianculos on Mozambique's Indian Ocean coast for five nights at the Indigo Bay Island Resort, just a short hop away on the Bazaruto Archipelago, including all meals.
DAY 3
Explore Knysna at your own leisure, perhaps taking a boat ride on the lagoon or sampling the fresh oysters. DAY 4 Fly South African Airways from George to Cape Town for three nights in a Mountain facing room including breakfast at The Bay hotel (p39), superbly positioned in the centre of Camps Bay with the beach and many bars and restaurants literally on its doorstep.
DAY 7 TO DAY 10
A blissful few days doing as much or as little as you like in this tropical island paradise. DAY 11 Return by Pelican Air to Johannesburg, then fly South African Airways overnight to Heathrow. Departures weekly every Thursday and Sunday.

Air Mauritius flight from Cape Town to Mauritius, where you transfer the short distance to the Preskil Beach Resort (p182) for four nights of relaxing island living in a Lagoon room including breakfast and dinner. DAY 11 A final day on the golden beach of Preskil before your Air Mauritius daytime flight to Heathrow.
