United Airlines flight to Honolulu. Spend seven nights at the Ohana Waikiki West (see p147) which is situated in the lively resort of Waikiki. Alternatively fly from San Francisco direct to Maui for seven nights in a Gardenview room at the Royal Lahaina hotel (see p151).

United Airlines flight to Honolulu. Spend seven nights at the Ohana Waikiki West (see p147) or fly from Los Angeles direct to Maui and pick up your rental car and drive to the Royal Lahaina hotel staying in a Gardenview room (see p151).
DAY 8
Short flight with United Airlines to your chosen island. On arrival pick up your Alamo rental car and make your way to your hotel for a seven night stay. In Maui stay in a Gardenview room at the Royal Lahaina, (see p151) in Kauai, a Mountain/Gardenview room at the Hilton Kauai (see p152) and on the `Big Island' of Hawaii stay in a Partial oceanview room at King Kamehameha's (see p154).

United Airlines flight via San Francisco from Maui or from Honolulu via Los Angeles to Heathrow arriving the next day.
