DAY 13 TO DAY 14 ² Arrive in
morning and its many attractions including the CNN centre and the lively Buckhead area. Leave Atlanta and head north into the Appalachian Mountains to Chattanooga. Don't miss a visit to the Tennessee museum, Rugby Falls and the Chattanooga Choo Choo, one of the world's largest model railways (approx. 114 miles).
DAY 3 TO DAY 4 ² Today's journey
Carolina through the Great Smoky Mountains. In Chimney Rock Park ride the elevator to the top for amazing views. Explore the parks nature trails, caves and rare plant life. Continue to Asheville for an overnight stay (approx. 293 miles).
DAY 8 ² Drive to Raleigh, North
romantic Savannah, which was founded in 1733, for a two night stay. Explore the restored waterfront area or take a walking tour of the many interesting squares (approx. 110 miles).
