See the Old North Bridge and the Minuteman statue. Visit the vibrant, coastal town of Salem with its beautiful Federal Era townhouses in the McIntire Historic District. Boston sightseeing tour, taking in views of Faneuil Hall, the Old State House and the South Meeting House. Visit the eminent Old North Church, the site at which a certain auspicious event ignited the American Revolution. Cross the Charles River to Cambridge and join a walking tour of Harvard Yard, the campus hub of Harvard University. Return to Boston with the rest of the day to explore as you wish.
day 3 h Follow the route of Minuteman Paul Revere's famous horse ride through Lexington and Concord on the eve of April 18th 1775, alerting that British troops were marching to Lexington, where the Revolution began.
today in Portland, on the Maine Coast, and board a working lobster boat to learn all about lobster harvesting and conservation from the experts. Partake in a guided walking tour of the Old Port before journeying on to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and an ecological presentation on the botany, wildlife and environment of the North Woods. Overnight at the White Mountain Hotel & Resort in North Conway.
day 5 h Travel through the majestic White Mountains to Franconia Notch, a spectacular mountain pass of peaks and waterfalls, lakes and rivers and abundant wildlife and songbirds. Enjoy a short walk in the Basin. Lunch is à la carte at sophisticated Hanover Inn, on the Green at Dartmouth College. Later, arrive in Plymouth, in the heart of the Green Mountains to savour a `Taste of Vermont' wine and local cheese reception before dinner.

Famous for his depictions of everyday life scenarios, view his covers from the Saturday Evening Post and visit his studio. Relax at a reception and dinner this evening at your hotel for the night, the Crowne Plaza Pittsfield, tucked away in the Berkshire Hills. day 8 h Drive through Pioneer
Valley and make a stop in colonial Deerfield before travelling back to Boston airport for your onward journey.
