Xi'an with China Eastern Airlines and transfer to the King Dynasty hotel for two nights visiting the Han Yang tombs en route. In the evening enjoy a traditional dinner. DAY 7
In the morning fly with Hainan Airlines to Hangzhou, one of China's most picturesque garden cities. Upon arrival transfer to the perfectly positioned Lake View hotel for two nights. Relax and discover the beauty of Hangzhou at your leisure. Begin the following day with a boat ride on the serene West Lake and later wander one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in China, the Lingyin, before following on to the Six Harmonies Pagoda. Hangzhou is also famous for its tea houses and a visit to a tea plantation is also included.

In time wind your way along the Yangtze through beautiful mountain countryside and gorges, finally reaching Qutang Gorge, the last of the big three.

DAY 18
Arrive in Chongqing and enjoy a short tour of the city. Fly with Xiamen Airlines to picturesque Guilin and upon arrival transfer to the hotel Universal for two nights. A night at leisure is followed by a relaxing cruise down the Li River to the scenic town of Yangshuo. Along the way, pass through simply stunning scenery of dramatic limestone karsts, witnessing peaceful rural river life along the way. Return to Guilin for a Farewell Dinner.
DAY 9
Morning train to Suzhou and transfer to the Bamboo Grove hotel for two nights. Explore some of this enchanting town with a visit to the elaborate Garden of the Humble Administrator. Continue your tour of Suzhou the following morning, beginning at the Garden of the Master of the Nets and continuing on to a Silk Spinning workshop. Later make the short journey to the delightfully preserved watertown of Tongli, where a short tour and boat ride along the scenic canals that criss-cross its narrow cobbled streets and old stone houses is included.
DAY 20
Enjoy free time in the morning and after lunch visit Elephant Trunk Hill Park and the Reed Flute Cave, an enchanting world of stalagmites and stalactites, brilliantly illuminated by a series of brightly coloured lights. Later fly with Dragonair to Hong Kong and connect with your British Airways flight to Heathrow, arriving early the next morning or alternatively choose to extend your tour with a stay in Hong Kong

DAY 11
Transfer to Shanghai for two nights at the New Century Hotel and relax or explore Shanghai at leisure. Shanghai is China's most vibrant city with a long and colourful history. The following day city tour includes a stroll along the Bund, discover the Yu Garden and the Old Town district and visit the Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum. This evening enjoy dinner followed by an amazing acrobatic show.
