ATTRACTIONS If you're looking for thrills and excitement, then International Drive has it. Spend your days experiencing the innovative thrills and unexpected adventures of Universal's Islands of Adventure® or if you want to party and listen to live music then Universal CityWalk® is one of I-Drive's hottest spots. Splash around and enjoy the exhilarating tube rides and raft adventures at Wet `n Wild® or enjoy the famous Shamu® spectacular, Believe® at SeaWorld® Orlando. Make sure you find time to visit Discovery Cove®, the only place you can swim with dolphins in Orlando. Book early to avoid disappointment! Apart from the world famous theme parks I-Drive has a variety of other attractions such as Wonderworks, one of the most eccentric and unusual pieces of architecture you'll ever see, where you can join in interactive experiences such as the earthquake stimulation room and the Bridge of Fire.
GOLF If Dads want a day away from the theme parks, there are a choice of golf courses in the Grande Lakes area, offering beautiful landscaped courses suitable for all standards. For the less experienced golfer, Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf offers a pitch and putt course with a difference! SHOPPING International Drive is crammed with a multitude of shops selling everything from souvenirs to sports wear and cosmetics to clothes, all at great prices. You can find all you need in one of the many malls that can be reached by car. Don't miss Orlando Premium Outlets, situated at the southern end of I-Drive for a real bargain. TRANSPORT Car hire is included during your stay in I-Drive, but if you prefer not to drive then take advantage of the I-Drive Trolley which travels up and down I-Drive, giving you the freedom to hop on and off where and when you want. Fares just start at $1 per person, so this is a really affordable way to travel. If you're a non-driver, many hotels offer complimentary transportation to many of the theme parks.
EATING OUT With hundreds of eateries I-Drive offers a spectacular choice of cuisine to suit all tastes and budgets. Choose to have a burger at the world's largest McDonalds or a pizza at Pizza Hut. Bahama Breeze is one of the most famous chains of restaurants in America, serving Caribbean cuisine and refreshing cocktails. There is also a choice of all you can eat style restaurants including Ponderosa's and Sizzlers. We highly recommend The Olive Garden for its tasty Italian cuisine. For great family entertainment, Pirate's Dinner Adventure is a real treat.
