Alternatively, increasingly popular alternatives include the beautiful sandy beaches of Goa - a perfect haven for sunseekers. Combine Sri Lanka's picturesque and cultural resorts with a stay on its stunning beaches. To allow you complete flexibility, all hotels or resorts included in the itineraries and shown on p72-75, may be changed to suit your taste, similarly you may add any experiences or your own private car and driver to see the sights at your own pace.
DAY 13 ² SriLankan Airlines flight to Heathrow direct or via Colombo, arriving later the same day. DAY 7 ² Drive to your chosen beach hotel. See p58-71 for hotel details. DAY 12 ² Fly SriLankan Airlines arriving Heathrow later the DAY 1 ² Fly from Heathrow on SriLankan Airlines to Colombo. DAY 2 ² On arrival in Colombo transfer to your chosen hotel DAY 1 ² Fly SriLankan Airlines from Heathrow. DAY 2 ² On arrival in Colombo, transfer by road to your choice of hotel for three or more nights in Kandy, Kandalama or Habarana (p72-75). Approx. three hours drive to Kandy, alternatively it is five hours to Kandalama (p73), 3½ hours drive to Habarana. DAY 5 ² Drive two to three hours to the unique Tea Factory,
