DAY 8
Fly Lao Airlines to Vientiane for two nights at the first class Lao Plaza (p100) or deluxe Green Park (p100). Laos' capital city hosts a number of delightful temples, which combine gracefully with the French colonial architecture. We would recommend booking our Vientiane City Tour.
DAY 4 Fly south with Vietnam Airlines to Danang, then transfer by road to Hoi An and stay two nights at the first class Golden Sands Resort (p62) or Deluxe Nam Hai (p63). DAY 6
Transfer by road to the ancient imperial city of Hue for two nights at the first class Saigon Morin (p61) or deluxe La Residence (p60). Sitting on the banks of the Perfume River the city can easily be explored on our prebookable Hue City Tour, which includes a river cruise, a visit to the Thien Mu Pagoda, lively Dong Ba market and the ornate Imperial Citadel.
DAY 10
Fly Lao Airlines to Luang Prabang for three nights at the first class Three Nagas (p98) or deluxe La Residence (p99). Time here can be spent enjoying this tranquil town and its selection of cafés and restaurants. A prebookable trip to the nearby Kuang Si waterfalls is an excellent full day excursion, where a delightful series of waterfalls cascade into the crystal clear pools at its base.
DAY 8
Fly south with Vietnam Airlines to Ho Chi Minh City for three nights at the first class Windsor Plaza (p48) or the deluxe Sheraton Saigon (p50). While here, we recommend prebooking a tour to the nearby Cu Chi Tunnels, offering an insight into the intense hardship and resilience of the Vietnamese during the Vietnam War.

Fly Bangkok Airways to Bangkok, connecting with your Thai Airways flight to Bangkok arriving early the following day.

DAY 11
Vietnam Airlines flight to Siem Reap and transfer to the first class Sokha Angkor (p82) or the deluxe Sofitel Royal Angkor (p84) for three nights. Explore the temples on our prebookable full day tour or tour Tonle Sap, visiting small fishing villages built on stilts over the lake.
