For those visiting the region for the first time or as an introduction to a new area, guided tours offer a wonderful insight. touring indochina insights & culture With the expertise of a local guide and from the comfort of your airconditioned touring vehicle there really isn't a better way of exploring the magical countries of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Learn of local cultures, traditions and religions each day with a new, exciting experience and at every turn a spectacle equally as breathtaking as the last. in a word Within this section of the brochure, find a collection of remarkable journeys that cover what is often described as French Indochina. Whilst touring is available within each of the featured countries, pan Indochina tours are dedicated to the exploration of the region following both traditional routes and unbeaten tracks. Encompass the sights and spectacles of the region building great contrasts between countries and cultures. The tours include all the sightseeing detailed and the expertise of a local guide. In some cases they include cycling, a very traditional means of exploring the region and as you'll see a very popular form of local transport. On other tours, in particular those including Cambodia, Kuoni works with local Non Governmental Organisations also known as NGOs, non profit organisations set up to assist with community problems such as employment, education and the homeless. For the more intrepid travellers or repeat visitors to the region, you may wish to create your own tour by choosing the main sights you wish to see from the selection of our multi-centres and add overnight trips or experiences to each of your stopovers.
