LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR
Private full day tour, from Luang Prabang with lunch. £41 per adult, £22 per child (2-12 years) A delightful full day guided tour of the highlights of this charming UNESCO World Heritage listed town and former royal capital. Your day begins at Vat Vixoun, the oldest operating temple in the town, before discovering the similarly ornate and colourful Vat Aham and Vat Mai Vat. Your morning ends at Vat Xiengthong, the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang, often revered for its low sweeping roofs and exquisite mosaics. Following lunch continue to the former Royal Palace. Built as recently as 1904 in a Franco-Laos design, today it houses a vast collection of religious and royal artefacts. Stop by the lively H'mong market then ascend the many steps of Mount Phousi to the stupa of That Chomsi and admire the breathtaking views of Luang Prabang and beyond before returning to your hotel. A half day tour is available, visiting Vat Xiengthong, Vat May, Mount Phousi and the former Royal Palace. £30 per person, £15 per child (2-12 years) hilltribe. Surrounded by lush plantations and wholly enclosed by a canopied forest, the natural Kuang Si waterfalls cascade down tier after tier into turquoise coloured pools. Enjoy a swim then relax with a picnic lunch. Upon your return, a short visit to a traditional weaving village is included. Return to the restaurant where under the expert guidance of your chef, you create a delicious masterpiece of Laotian cuisine. Enjoy your meal, with drinks included, before returning to your hotel.
VIENTIANE CITY TOUR
Private full day tour, from Vientiane with lunch. £36 per adult, £18 per child (2-12 years) The day begins with a visit to the impressive Vat Sisaket, the oldest temple in Vientiane, admire the recently restored priceless mural paintings. Continue on to the most revered shrine in Laos, That Luang. Prior to lunch a short stop is included at the landmark Patouxay, Vientiane's own Arc de Triumphe. After lunch set off to the Lao Textile Museum. Three traditional Laotian houses are set in a lush garden and house a fine private collection of Lao artefacts and textiles. Conclude the day with a visit to the Stupa of That Dam, followed by a walk to Nam Phou. Late afternoon explore the streets in and around the Mekong before returning to your hotel.

PAK OU CAVES
Private full day tour, from Luang Prabang with lunch. £38 per adult, £19 per child (2-12 years) Embark on a traditional boat ride along the Mekong River, stopping en route to visit a traditional weaving and rice wine distillation operation in a local village. Following lunch at a local restaurant in Pak Ou, continue to the Than Ting and Tham Phoum caves to witness the Buddha statues contained within. Upon your return to Luang Prabang, stop by the village of Ban Xieng Mene to visit the beautiful mural paintings that adorn the Vat Long Khoune.
