HANOI CITY TOUR
Half day tour from Hanoi £9 per adult, £5 per child (2-12 years) A fascinating half day tour of Vietnam's bustling capital, visiting the imposing granite mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh. Affectionately known as `Uncle Ho' his body remains embalmed on display, receiving thousands of visitors every day. Close by, his former residence the One Pillar Pagoda beautifully resembles a lotus rising out of the water. The tour ends with a visit to the Temple of Literature, built in 1076 as the original university in Vietnam.
NB All museums are closed Mondays. Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is closed Mondays, Fridays and during October and November.
OLD QUARTER CYCLO TOUR
Half day tour from Hanoi £10 per adult, £5 per child (2-12 years) A unique and often hilarious method of transport to be found on the streets of Hanoi is the `cyclo'. Resembling a cross between a handcart and a bicycle, it's an excellent way to navigate the busy streets of Hanoi. Your half day tour begins with visits to Hoan Kiem Lake, the iconic Ngoc Son temple and the landmark Opera House. From here it's a short ride to Hanoi's Old Quarter. With a history that spans 2,000 years, it was a thriving centre for craftsmen and merchandisers. Nowadays, still maintaining a sense of history, it serves as a picturesque commercial and dining area.
HALONG BAY CRUISE
Full day tour from Hanoi including lunch £50 per adult, £25 per child (2-12 years) Cruise Halong Bay on this exceptionally beautiful full day experience. Known locally as `Dragon descending to the sea' and listed as a World Heritage Area of Natural Beauty, picturesque Halong Bay features more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the emerald waters. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch onboard, followed by visits to the stunning islet caves of Thien Cung and Dau Go. A memorable day full of amazing photo opportunities.
