After your return to Hue enjoy lunch before departing for your journey over the scenic Hai Van Pass to Danang, visiting the Cham Museum, Marble Mountains and China Beach where American G.I.s first landed back in 1965 en route. Proceed to Hoi An for your overnight stay at this charming UNESCO listed town.
DAY 11
Wake early this morning surrounded by the scenery of Dalat. The remainder of the day is spent journeying to Vietnam's southern capital and centre of technology and commerce - Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival check into your hotel and choose to explore the city this evening at your own leisure.

DAY 8
This once small fishing village dates back to the 16th Century and has been a popular port of call for many nationalities that have traded here over the centuries. Visit Tan Ky Old House, a traditional and historic building, the Fukien Assembly Hall and the Japanese covered bridge. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure.
DAY 12
Today's tour of the city shows you many of the city's most important sites. See some of Ho Chi Minh City's most colourful architecture on visits to the Notre Dame Cathedral, City Hall and the Central Post Office. Explore Chinatown with its many traders and busy roads, enjoy the buzz and bargains of Ben Thanh Market with its many stalls selling fabrics, cosmetics and food. Explore important points of worship within the city with a visit to Thien Hau Pagoda and take a stroll through the grounds of the former Presidential Palace.
DAY 9
Drive back to Danang this morning for your Vietnam Airlines flight to the picturesque coastal town of Nha Trang. Built between the 7th and 12th Century its religious monuments such as the Po Nagar Cham Tower date back to the 2nd Century AD. Today Nha Trang remains a place of pilgrimage to Cham and Vietnamese Buddhists. While in Nha Trang you will also visit the Institute of Oceanography and the town's delightful beach.
DAY 13
Pass through the busy suburbs of the city this morning and journey north west to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This amazing network of underground tunnels provided a home and base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Choose to go down the tunnels if you wish to see the many underground rooms. Later this afternoon return to Ho Chi Minh City for your final night in Vietnam. Alternatively enjoy a day visit to My Tho at the heart of the lush Mekong Delta.
DAY 10
Wake early for a stroll on the seafront before breakfast and your journey to the cool climate of the former French hill station of Dalat, in Vietnam's Central Highlands. Dalat is a place for romantics and while here your guide will show you sites such as Lovers Lane, the delightful flower gardens, Xuan Huong Lake, Prenn Waterfall and the Linh Son Pagoda. Included also is a ride on an old locomotive train to Trai Mat.
DAY 14
Depart Vietnam today for your journey home via Bangkok with Thai Airways to London arriving the next day.
